We are committed to protecting your privacy online. We urge you to read this Privacy Policy so that you will understand both our commitment to your privacy, and how you can help us honor that commitment.

The purpose of this Privacy Policy is to inform you about the types of information we gather about you when you visit our site, how we may protect and use that information, whether we disclose it to anyone, and the choices you have regarding our use of, and your ability to correct, the information.

PERSONAL INFORMATION WE COLLECT

We collect information about you in the following ways:

Voluntarily Provided Information. During your registration for an Account, we may request that you voluntarily supply us with certain personal information, including your e-mail address, postal address, home or work telephone number, or other personal information such as your gender, education level, or date of birth. We will continue to use that information in accordance with the Terms of Use and this Privacy Policy unless you tell us otherwise. From time to time the Company may ask the users of the Site to fill out online surveys, forms, or questionnaires (collectively the “Surveys”). Such Surveys are completely voluntary.

Cookies. Like many other web sites, our Site may utilize a standard technology called a “cookie” to collect information about how our Site is used by users. Cookies were designed to help a web site recognize previous visitors and thus save and remember any preferences such user may have set while browsing such web site. A cookie cannot retrieve any data from your hard drive, pass on a computer virus, or capture your e-mail address. Our Site may use cookies in order to improve our services and your experience on the Site. Data collected via cookies helps us to generate content on our web pages which is of interest to our users, and allows us to statistically monitor how many people are using our Site. Sponsors, advertisers or third parties may also use cookies when you select their advertisement, content or service; we cannot control their use of cookies or how they use the information they gather. If you do not want information collected via cookies, there is a simple procedure utilized by most browsers that allows you to deny or accept the cookie feature. However, we want you to be aware that cookies may be necessary to provide you with certain features, such as the customized delivery of information, available on the Site.

USE OF USER INFORMATION

We may perform statistical analyses of aggregate user behavior. This allows us to measure relative user interest in the various areas of our Site for service development purposes. We may aggregate your MemTrax Test results with those of other users for analysis purposes. Any information we collect is used for measuring and quantifying the effectiveness of the MemTrax Test, improvement of the content of the Site and/or the MemTrax Test, and enhancement of the users’ experiences on the Site. We do not use personally identifying information (such as name, email address, phone number) for any reason that is not disclosed in this Privacy Policy. We may use any information disclosed on this Site which is not personally identifying information (such as, but not limited to, gender, education level, reaction time rate and memory performance, it being understood that such non-personally identifiable information will be aggregated with that of other users) for research purposes. We may continue to use such non-personally identifiable information indefinitely including any non-personally identifiable information collected from users who no longer have any active account with us. We never send e-mails to you unless you consent to receive e-mails from us. You are able to voluntarily subscribe to the Company’s newsletters.

LIMITED DISCLOSURE OF YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION TO THIRD PARTIES

Ensuring the privacy of the information you provide to us is of the utmost importance to us. The Company does not share users’ personal information with any third parties. However, the Company may become affiliated with other research and wellness programs and may share information with such entities. The Company will not provide such entities with any information regarding the identity of any individual user.
