The Importance of Early Detection and the Memory Test
A clinically valid assessment to evaluate and improve cognitive functions.
Early detection and online testing for a more advanced understanding of human Brain Health.
At MemTrax, we believe there is a better way to approach cognitive health. A more valuable, less invasive way where people are informed and educated rather than frustrated and neglected. We're professionally passionate about it, and our mission is to help people achieve it. We focus on online memory and cognitive testing. It's one of the least understood and least transparent aspects of aging, and we see that as an opportunity: We're excited to simplify memory testing for everyone through our software, education, and community.
Research Doctor and Cognitive Test
Dr. Ashford began giving the MemTrax memory test in 1988 at Southern Illinois University, using a slide show carousel to project the picture images on a wall and asking attendees to report when they saw a repeat picture with pencil and paper. He visited retirement homes and elderly communities. sharing information and administering MemTrax in a large group setting with his audience watching the slides. The first MemTrax users would write down whether or not they have seen a repeat image using a pencil and paper score card. That was the very first version of the MemTrax test. Now every thing is done online; testing, scoring, and presentation of results along a continuum.

We continued to develop the test collaboratively to include different algorithms to randomly select different order sets along with image sets to ensure no two MemTrax tests were the same. This variable variety has made MemTrax the first online memory test that can test memory precisely, repeatedly, and frequently, with reliable test-retest measurement.

We are thankful for the support of our users, family, and friends. We have developed the MemTrax Cognitive Test in innovative ways to change the way people manage brain health and memory, promote healthy aging, and make a difference in millions of peoples lives across the world.

How is your memory today?

Welcome to our community, we created the MemTrax memory test to help you find changes in short term memory and brain function. I recommend taking the test monthly, weekly, or daily for the most accurate results.
